Construction has broken ground on the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Hickory, North Carolina under the development of Clarendon Properties and the day-to-day management of Crown Hotel & Travel Management both with offices in Wilmington, North Carolina. The hotel is located at 1540 23rd street SE and owned by Hickory Hospitality Ventures. This 108-room all-suite property is designed to appeal to all travelers and is a pioneer in the longer-stay segment. All of the suites are well appointed with an expansive living area and a full kitchen. Other amenities for this location will include a heated indoor pool, 24/7 fitness center, meeting space, outdoor community patio, complimentary breakfast, and programs like Something Borrowed, lending guests anything they may need during their stay and the incredible loyalty program, Bonvoy. Marriott International debuted the TownePlace Suites brand 26 years ago and has now become one of the fastest-growing brands in the US, establishing itself as an industry leader in the all-suite, extended-hotel model.
