Knightdale, NC: “The achievement of representing Special Olympics USA in the Special Olympics World Games is one that few will ever earn, but one that an entire world will celebrate”.
Erin Cagle, a valued member of our team at Hampton Inn & Suites, Knightdale, had the incredible opportunity to compete in the 2023 Special Olympics World Games held in Berlin, Germany. Selected by the NC Special Olympics committee, Erin represented North Carolina in vaulting, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. Despite being one of the oldest competitors, Erin’s radiant personality and positive attitude shone brightly. She achieved 7th place in floor exercise, 5th place on the balance beam and uneven bars, and won a silver medal in vaulting. We are immensely proud of Erin and grateful to have supported her journey from Knightdale.
We celebrated Erin’s return and her incredible achievements. Her Hampton Inn & Suites family, along with representatives from UNC TEACH, NC Special Olympics, and Hilton, joined in the celebration.
