Wilmington, NC: Crown Hotel & Travel Management celebrates the appointments of Linda Thornley to Vice President – Corporate Director of Operations and Josh Emett to Chief Financial Officer. As Vice President – Corporate Director of Operations, Linda will oversee all phases of hotel operations and new openings. She will ensure our service standards, brand and independent processes and employee engagement are meeting our internal goals. Linda has over twenty years of hospitality experience and has been with Crown Hotel and Travel Management for eleven years. She has worked in all aspects of operations and has her CHA designation. Linda is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is well respected within the industry and is tirelessly volunteering in the community.
As Chief Financial Officer, Josh will guide the company on implementation and improvement of internal financial efficiencies and strategies. He will provide insight on all growth opportunities and direct the accounting and financial departments. Josh brings over twelve years of experience in accounting and business consulting and has been with Crown Hotel and Travel Management for over two years. He has presented at national accounting conferences and taught leadership events covering topics such as workflow optimization, business model optimization, and the millennial workforce. Josh holds a Master of Accountancy degree from Southern Utah University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Dixie State University.
